The project was initiated when Media1 was approached by a client to install unique live video systems across a number of countries. Media1's client is a multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer and distributer that regularly holds staff awards ceremonies and town-hall meetings. As such, they had used a requirement to connect live video and audio to their sites in other countries. The internal video conferencing equipment was used alongside specific audio and visual equipment to enable the remote areas to connect and view video, slides and audio to each location simultaneously and seamlessly, alongside a simultaneous webcast which allowed individual staff to view the meeting at their desks or remotely using their laptops.
