WebEx-cellence

It is fair to say that the pressures to stay green and yet adhere to the high standards of business that we hold ourselves to, are growing. But in this day and age, having an urgent conference on the other side of the world should no longer pose a threat to the Polar bears.

For many of us, a conference in a different country used to mean a plane journey – and a guilt trip because of our carbon emissions. However, thanks to our new WebEx based international online meeting service, there is now a much more eco and people friendly means of ‘presence’ at your conference.

When our WebEx service launched at an event in Copenhagen, it allowed delegates from the USA and Australia to communicate in real time, directly with the Swedish host. The event, which had to consider time zone differences for its ‘attendees’, included video and audio interaction, and a function that meant the US delegate was able to operate his presentation directly.

The next time you have a conference based thousands of mile away you – or delegates from around the world - can rest assured in the fact that you can attend without even leaving the office – and reduce your carbon footprint and travel cost.

If you have experienced the benefits of a WebEx conference, why not tell us?
