Ohhhh Vienna
Within the industry we often see trends for certain venues and locations being more popular at certain times, and one of the most popular locations for 2008 had to be Vienna.
Last year alone we produced 5 events in the city, with us completing three events there within a four week time period. Two of these events were back-to-back, which allowed us to have a little more time than usual to enjoy the sights the city has to offer.
Having been able to spend some free time in Vienna, it is easy to see why it has become such a popular location for the events industry. Not only does it have some fantastic venues, which boast excellent facilities, but it is also a city that is full of history and character.
The architecture is incredible and the people of the city are very welcoming, which makes it easy for you to enjoy your surroundings. We were fortunate to visit while the atmospheric Christmas Markets were open and enjoyed the gluwien…. And we never miss an opportunity to visit our favourite Italian restaurant, Di Capo, that is not only wonderful food, but is also reasonably price. It’s advisable to book as it is always busy!
However, with the limits on our time in Vienna, we have hardly scratched the surface of what this beautiful city has to offer, so if you have any tips for the best places to go, we’d love to hear them.
